A One-Question Study Investigating Ideas about Sexual Orientation

Brief Description of Research Project:
This study is just 1 question long!
Despite its brevity, its design allows me to tackle an important question about how we perceive sexual orientation. All participants will respond to a single, free-response question concerning how they form ideas about someone's sexual orientation. This information will be quantitatively coded by trained research assistants and these data may be submitted for publication to a peer-reviewed journal.
This study has been assessed as posing

to participants. Participants may feel some emotional discomfort while answering questions about sexual orientation. However, participants (1) will be completely
